By accessing or using AvMedSup (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

AvMedSup is a public directory that helps pilots locate Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) and check the regulatory status of common over-the-counter medications and supplements across various civil aviation authorities (CAAs). We also publish reference content about aviation medical topics.

The Service is a directory and reference tool. We are not a medical provider, we do not practise medicine, we are not part of any CAA, and we do not issue, deny, or evaluate aviation medical certificates of any kind.

3. Not Medical Advice

The information on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this website should be construed as an attempt to offer or render a medical opinion or otherwise engage in the practice of medicine.

• Always seek the advice of a qualified AME, physician, or other healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, medication, supplement, or treatment.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

4. Aviation Data Disclaimer

AME listings on AvMedSup are sourced from publicly available CAA registries and other public sources. While we make reasonable efforts to keep listings current, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any particular purpose of any listing.

• An AME’s certification status, office hours, contact details, languages spoken, and class ratings may change at any time without notice to us.
• Inclusion of an AME in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality of their services.
• Always confirm an AME’s current designation, address, and class-rating authority directly with the relevant CAA (e.g., the FAA Designee Locator for FAA-certificated AMEs) before scheduling an examination.
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from reliance on directory information.

5. Supplement & Medication Data Disclaimer

The supplements reference page summarises the per-CAA regulatory status of common over-the-counter medications and dietary supplements based on publicly available guidance from each authority.

• CAA regulations change. A status shown as “allowed” today may be restricted or prohibited tomorrow.
• Individual medical history, dose, combination with other medications, and route of administration can all affect aeromedical fitness in ways our reference cannot capture.
• These statements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, or any other regulatory body. Products and supplements listed on this Service are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• Always confirm the current status of any medication or supplement with the relevant CAA and your AME before flying.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

AvMedSup may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and similar affiliate programmes. These programmes allow us to earn fees by linking to affiliated retailers. We may also receive referral discounts or commissions from individual AMEs when pilots book using a discount code listed on our site.

Affiliate relationships do not influence the information we publish. AME listings are included regardless of any referral arrangement, and supplement status data is curated independently. We only link to retailers for products we believe are genuinely relevant to pilots, and we mark affiliate links clearly when they appear.

7. No Professional Relationship

Using AvMedSup does not create any professional, fiduciary, advisory, or agency relationship between you and AvMedSup, its operator, or any third party mentioned on the Service. We are not your AME, your lawyer, your flight instructor, or your employer.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access the Service by any means other than the interface we provide, including scraping, crawling, or using automated agents at a rate that exceeds normal human use.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures.
• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content via the contact form or newsletter.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or to send unsolicited communications.
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AvMedSup and are protected by international copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws. AME data sourced from public registries remains the property of the originating authority; we merely reformat and present it for search convenience.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including AME practice sites, CAA sites, and affiliate retailers. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. A link does not imply endorsement. Read the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall AvMedSup, its operator, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of medical certification, denial of a flight, loss of data, or loss of profits) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AvMedSup and its operator from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the federal laws of the country as applied in the Emirate in which the operator resides. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed by good-faith correspondence. If not resolved within 60 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced by a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
